Q1. What’s the Duration of plan & its cost?

A1. Plan is for 1 /2 years and starts from handset purchase date. Costing of plan is (one time payment) of Rs 8.00% (1 year) or Rs 11.00% (2 year) - invoice value of handset.

Q2. Who all can buy this plan and which mobile brands are accepted?

A2. All buyers of new mobile handsets from local / abroad retailer or online stores (Flipkart, Snap Deal, Amazon etc) can take this pack. Following brands are accepted - APPLE , SAMSUNG , SONY , LG, KARBONN , MICROMAX, NOKIA, BLACKBERRY, LENOVO, MOTOROLA , HTC , LAVA, XOLO, OPPO VIDEOCON, ALCATEL, PANASONIC, GIONEE, XIAOMI, ASUS, I BALL , DELL , HP, INTEX, HUAWEI, CELKON , MAXX, ONIDA, SPICE and all other brands that provide 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Q3. How to avail services of plan? For Accidental Damage / Technical Repair:

A3. i) Call WA helpline and register your complaint.
ii) Our executive will reach your registered address / shop counter for handset pick up within 24-48 hours of complaint being registered.
iii) Your handset will be repaired and delivered back to your address in 10-12 days^ for minor repairs or maximum 14-25 days^ for major repairs.
iv) By using WA services - manufacturers warranty on handset can might get lapsed but you need not worry since for next 1 / 2 years your handset is our responsibility.
^Approx time taken for repair and can be extended as per availability of spares.

Q4. What’s NOT covered in Plan?

A4. Complaints for- Battery (back up), Charger (not working), hands-free, memory card, external aerials (accessories).

Q5. How many repair services will I get?

A5. 1 year plan - total of 2 services you can avail during the plan duration. 2 year plan - total of 4 services you can avail during the plan duration and this includes maximum three # free screen replacement. # Total cost of repair must not exceed the cost of handset.

Q6. Can I get handset repaired from authorized service centre (self) and take reimbursement?

A6. Yes you can get handset repaired at any authorized service centre in India and you will get flat 67% of repair bill as claim within 15-21 working days.

Q7. Documents required for misplace / stolen handsets?

A7. A4. a. Police complaints (N.C.R – under section 155 Cr.P.C) on computerized format or daily dairy entry in police records
b. Apart from F.I.R a simple untraced report on plain format for handsets above Rs 22,000
c. Original handset purchase bill
d. Original protection plan
e. Duplicate Sim issued letter / Sim block letter (written confirmation)

Q8. Compensation chart for payments?

A8. You will get compensation amount as per table A within 15-21 working days. *Theft / Misplace / Non repairable – a. (5%) extra will be deducted from claim amount against old accessories. b. Claim will be settled as per prevailing current market price - similar model / features handset.

e) Warranty Asia will not be liable for any kind of consequential loss due to handset theft / misplace
f) Any dispute regarding interpretation of the terms, conditions and exceptions of this protection plan shall be determined in accordance with the law and practice of a court of competent jurisdiction within Delhi only.
g) Plan will be issued only after inspection of the handset.

Plan B FAQ's

Q1. What’s the Duration of plan & its cost?

A1. Plan is valid for 365 days from the handset purchase date. Mobile Safety App is also valid for 365 days. Costing of plan varies from (Rs 8.50% to Rs 19.50%) of the invoice cost of handset. Buy early & pay less.

Q2. Which all mobile brands are accepted?

A2. All buyers of new mobile handsets from local / abroad retailer or online stores (Flipkart, Snap Deal, Amazon etc) can take this plan. A3. Repairable - a. Estimate of repair from authorized service centre b. Handset purchase bill copy c. Protection plan slip copy d. Original repair bill e. Payment receipt f. Two photos of handset (before repairing) g. Claim Form For non repairable handsets get job sheet from service centre stating that handset is beyond economical repair, rest documents same as above.
Important Note: a. Screen / Touch Damage claim not accepted within first 07 days of plan issue date. b. Repair work must not start without WA written approval / inspection. c. Extra Rs 1250/- will be deducted as new handset charges for Apple & similar handsets which are not repaired but replaced by service centre.

Q4. Documents required for misplace / stolen handsets?
